The Conjoin of Two Realms

Acknowledging the client’s trade in the bedding industry, SODA has translated the ideology of sleep as transiting between the conscious and sub-conscious mind. With this design language, a radiant white wash frontage is seen as the realm of clear consciousness conjoining a sombre oak shed that is seen as a temporal refuge for the sub-consciousness mind. Amplifying the genetics of Slumberland’s enduring history of nearly 100 years, it is only logical to correlate the brand personality with English Heritage. Tracing the merits of Colonial Architecture and tactility of Art during the Impressionism period, it is further deciphered into a myriad of experiential spatial qualities.

寤寐之间

斯林百兰是一个拥有近百年历史的英国品牌，也是皇家御用品牌，其致力于为消费者提供五星级的睡眠服务。以其品牌形象为基础，设计师将清醒和沉睡之间交接转换的这一个现象具体化，当作这个案子的设计轴心。依循这样的一个设计语言，光鲜的白色外形可以是清醒的一种表现，而当顾客走入店内，迎面而来的沉稳橡木色调则成为了让人安心熟睡的保护色。同时，为了配合斯林百兰的品牌印象，设计了英伦印象派色彩的装饰细节，带给顾客更具质感的空间体验。
